Organised Petanque finished at the end of August

But you are welcome to continue to play whenever the weather suits and you can get a couple of friends to join you.

HAPPY VALLEY PETANQUE IS BACK
Petanque is also known as French boules. We play (badly) on the whin surface on the old curling rink area at the Craiglockhart terrace entrance to the woods. Our first petanque session will be on Tuesday 16th May from 7.00pm onwards. Then, weather permitting, we will play every Tuesday evening at the same time up to the end of August. We hope to welcome back our regulars – this is our third year of playing petanque. You will be just as welcome if you have never played before – we will explain the simple rules. Petanque is fun and easy and suitable for all ages. Blether with your neighbours, make new friends, sample our home baking and enjoy a glass of wine. Wander along on a sunny Tuesday evening and fling some boules with us.”
