REMEMBRANCE WALK
OCTOBER 28th – 10.00am to 11.30am
Join Catherine Walker, Curator of the War Poets Collection at Edinburgh Napier University and walk in the footsteps of Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon and all the shell shocked soldiers who stayed at Craiglockhart Hospital. Catherine will tell you about the Hospital ,the patients and the doctors who pioneered psychiatric therapies. We will climb gently to the summit of Wester Craiglockhart Hill and, along the way, there will be a series of short poetry readings in remembrance of service and sacrifice.
Gather at the main entrance to the University just below the ‘Egg’ building. You can park in the University car park off Glenlockhart Road.
